AliSkool

AliSkool · a learning platform and portfolio

Engineering,
built and taught.

I am Ali Albakri, a cloud-focused software developer working across AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD and DevSecOps. AliSkool is where that work becomes hands-on courses: small, real systems used to teach large engineering ideas, from cloud infrastructure and delivery pipelines through to electronics.

01 The approach

Small real systems, used to teach large ideas.

Every course here is built around something you deploy and can break. The application is kept deliberately boring, so what you actually learn is the engineering around it: the infrastructure, the delivery and the failure modes.

Learn by building

You provision the infrastructure, wire up the pipeline and deploy the thing. No slide decks, no read-only walkthroughs.

Understand the infrastructure

Knowing why a bucket policy is written that way is worth more than copying it. Each step explains what it is protecting you from.

Practical first

Manual first, so you see the moving parts. Then automated, so you see why the automation exists at all.

Software to silicon

Cloud, infrastructure, code and electronics are one continuum. The catalogue is built to cover all of it.

02 Featured courses

Start here.

One takes a plain static website from a laptop to a production platform on AWS, built by hand, rebuilt as code, then handed to a pipeline. The other prepares you for the CKS exam across all six curriculum domains, with ninety-six hands-on labs.

03 Learning pathways

A route through it, not a pile of tutorials.

Courses are grouped into pathways so each one has a place to lead. Live steps are linked; the rest is the published roadmap.

04 Selected work

Projects behind the teaching.

The courses come out of engineering work, not the other way round. These are the systems the material is drawn from.

Pick something and build it.

The AWS course is free, self-paced and runs inside the AWS free tier. Everything else on the roadmap is being built the same way.
